The stock button only partially disables it. It will still "grab" if you slide. It bogs you down such that it interferes with doing brodies. And wheeling. This fully disables it

ESP MOD Nice. Echo did a great job and left me with no doubts. Had a yellow switch for it, may change it for a red. Works exactly as described. I can see running without it most of the time, maybe except for rain. I taped the wire bundle back up with some electrical tape to hide the wiring.

Wanted to check and see if anyone has done this mod to a 12 yet I can't seem to find any info to verify that nothing has changed on the new model?

Just pace yourself, and take your time you you don't screw something up. I also re-wrapped the wire bundle with electrical tape as far up as I could go so the added wire isn't visible. That way they can't tell by looking. The stealership would have to cut the tape off anyway to see it, theoretically that shouldn't ever have to happen.

Instead of a toggle switch can't you just use a simple push button that will disable then when you release the button it's back to normal?

You caan use a push button to break the circuit, but; it will remain closed until you shutdown and restart the motor

Right....so essentially it still kills the system...but you dont have to worry about a toggle switch to turn back to the on position.
