    Front Defroster Mod?

Hey, has anyone done a mod on the front defroster? Mike clears the center part great, however the sides get pretty gummed up with ice making it difficult to run the wipers or see out when it's snowing and cold out. I'm thinking there should be a way to tap into the center line and route some air to the sides of the windshield.

    Thanks for any ideas!!

I imagine, given that the engine bay generates a ton of heat that there would be an easy way to run some 3" diameter piping/tubing from the engine compartment to the vented cowl area and a small electric (PC fan?) to some kind of vents that butt up against the windshield and defrost it that way. I added a crappy drawing to give you a better idea of what I mean.
