    11 JKU, Eva L

So I had this great wheeler/DD, an 08 JKU on 37s sporting 5.13s....and some lady runs a red light and I hit her. Totals the Jeep. Here she was on her last Moab trip. Some of y'all will recognize the climb.

So the hunt starts to find a replacement though it couldn't be at a worse time. We were in the process of relocating to the DFW area and as you may know, moves are expensive. So I start looking in El Paso for a replacement. I check out the 12s and am NOT impressed. (Let's not turn this into a "you're crazy" thread please) So I decide I will get an 11. Not to mention, the dealerships in El Paso really like their product and act as though they are doing you a favor by even offering to sell you one. I even had 1 Sales Manager in El Paso tell me "Well just come back here when you can't find anything in Dallas". Really? Are you kidding me? THAT is not the way to treat a customer. So, meanwhile my wife finds this one in Arlington and they actually know how to treat a customer and want to make a sale. So she pulls the trigger. I fly out ther and drive her back.

At the dealership in Arlington TX the day we pick her up. Name her Eva Longoria

Sitting on some Rubi take offs I got from a fellow Military Jeeper before he deployed to Afganistan. Had also installed some 3/4" spacers in the front.

Next was the install of the Viper TB I was running on my 08 and was able to take off before they dragged her away. Straight bolt up with a little massaging to get the stock air tube on over the larger TB opening.

Then came the need for some rock sliders as I had pretty much destroyed the Rugged Ridge steps by playing in the rocks. These also I had taken off my 08. Ended up going with the ACE Engineering sliders as recommended by Inigo Montoya. Thanks buddy.

Was still worried about the underside and was bouncing it off every rock on the trail since I was still running the Rubi take off tires and the 2.5" lift. On went the diff cover armor.

Next came the rear bumper thanks to the stop and go traffic and the lady behind me who decided to go while I was stopped. Price was only slightly more than the stock plastic cover and I did the install in my garage. Thank you insurance company of the lady who hit me.

Looks like that flag nut is hitting the tie rod when you turn right [and bent it]. May want to flip that!
