That'll be a sweet setup. The peace of mind will be worth it, especially since you're running 37's now. Dirtman ran RCV's in his D44 and said the smoothness was amazing.

Not yet, they are on the list along with new drive shafts

I went with the pro rock 44 unlimited 1/2" tubes, ARB, RCVs, dynatrac ball joints, and 5.13s. Ordered from northridge. They are running a special on this set up. Free shipping and was told 72 hr turn around.

I am really excited about this. No more dana 30 worries in the back of my mind.

I might be going that direction, there are some issues with the set-up I was looking at.. will see if it can be resolved

I bought my PR44 unlimited from NR too. But I don't know if I have the 1/2" tubes or the 5/16" tubes. Did you specify or did NR automatically do the 1/2"? Guess I should have asked what I was getting. Just wondering. Thanks.

I asked them what tubes I was getting with the special package.

I am working with a budget here.. that one looks alittle out of my range

I debated this for four+ years before jumping on a Northridge special and geting a Teraflex R44 for my '09 JKUR. From the existing (sleeved, gusseted and Pro Steered) stock housing we swapped over the Rubi locker, Yukon 5.38 gears, Reid knuckles, Superior chromoly shafts, CTMs and Spyntec hubs. I had the stock housing sold with the Pro Steers and opted to try the Synergy ball joints on the new housing. The Tera housing is a work f art, dialed in perfectly, too. The gear install was virtually a swap over, we changed one small shim to get the backlash. I've beaten on it since SDecember in FArmington and Moab and nothing has shifted, etc. If you have a Tera suspension like I do these install extremely easily. I only had to make minor control arm adjustments to center the bump stops and dial in the caster / pinion angle. Sweet!
