In your owners manual there are instructions on how to do this. For my '09 it was done by pushing a combination of buttons on the key. I would post the steps if I still had the owners manual.

For my '12 & '13 it is done from the menu in the speedometer under Personal Settings. Use the buttons on the steering wheel to scroll the menu.

I've got a 2009 and will look in my owners manual for this and pay it.

As promised, here is the horn disable procedure for the alarm.

If desired, the “Sound Horn On Lock” feature can be turned on or off using the following steps:

    1. Press the RKE transmitter LOCK button for 4 to 10 seconds.
    2. While the LOCK button is pressed (after four seconds), press the RKE transmitter PANIC button. Release both buttons.

The “Sound Horn On Lock” feature can be reactivated by repeating this procedure.

This is found on page 21 of the 2009 owner's manual. Also, the owner's manual can be downloaded for any year JK at the link provided below. Just select the year and the model from the drop down lists on the page and you will get a PDF version of the manual.

Not positive about the '12 but I am pretty sure that you can turn the horn off from the 'personal settings' located by pushing the button on your Speedometer. That is how I did it on my 2013.

I think all of these are in the manual. You can always look there for your model.

    1) Turn the ignition on (do not start)
    2) Buckle and unbuckle the seat belt (driver's) 3 times within 10 seconds
    3) Turn off the ignition.

Your seatbelt buzzer should be disabled, but you'll still get the light on the dash.
Please remember to always use your seatbelt.
Just did this hope it works on my 13
