    Looking back now on this sub frame I should have built it with the front control arms farther back closer to where the front output shaft is on the transfer case for some better driveline angles and should have mounted the upper link mount to the right of the left exhaust. I could have gotten a little more separation in the links by putting it there as well.

    I was having some clearance issues with the shocks and the inner C at max articulation so I built a new front axle that is 72" WMS I also cut the front down and swapped out to a different radiator to get some additional up travel. Currently the front is limited to 8.5" of droop and has 7" of up travel from ride height. I need to swap out the drive line as it binds at this much droop.

    Thanks. It feels like I got a decent amount of weight off the front but have not put it on the scales yet to see how much and I still have some aluminum fenders to build.Click image for larger version.

    Got the fronts done. Aluminum that weight in at 9 pounds each. 1.5"x.25" wall tube with 14 gauge skins.
