    Needing new tires

    Hey fellow Jeepers,

So i am in need of new wheels and tires for my 2008. Right now I'm running 35 Pro Comp MT2s with a 3 inch Rock Krawler lift. Looking at maybe going up to 37s or maybe just sticking with 35s. Looking for opinions on new set up that is recommended because i haven't looked at or bought new tires and wheels for awhile. Also where are some good places to shop for everything together? Not looking to break the bank on this or anything. Thanks for any input

As mine is a DD I will not go bigger than 35". I have BFG ko2 and Duratracs. I prefer the duratracs. I am sure DTD will be having some super deals for the Memorial Day holiday.

Duratracs are a good all-around tire just like the Trail Grapplers.

I have run Cooper STT's , Kumho kl-71's MT, Fuel M/T's , BFG MT's, Toyo MT's & Cooper STT pro's ... this is how I would rate them Worst to best in my experience .. On and off road

1 - BFG M/T - Very Pricey - good on road - not real noisy - do very well on the trails - had to rotate to often to keep them wearing evenly
2 - Kumho MT KL-71 - directional tire - good price - fairly quiet compared to others - did very well on and off road - wore well - just didn't like the directional
3 - Toyo MT - NOISEY - chop quickly - hard tire - better off road then on
4 - Cooper STT - good value for an older design - moderate noise - no sipping so they were tricky in winter -
5 - Fuel MT's - Quiet - look aggressive and perform well on and off road, didn't clean very well in muddy condition
    6. - Cooper STT Pro - new design from the Cooper STT.. has good sipping - quiet on road and perform very well off road

Again just my opinion based on my own experience and driving style ..
