Help! Horn problem 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon

I have a 2012 Rubicon Unlimited and when I alarm my Jeep, or open a door the horn blows for about 60 seconds and quits. Both horn fuses are good, no lights on dash, and all my steering wheel controls work just fine. With the fuses in I have no horn if I press on the steering wheel and when I alarm my Jeep from the horn chirps like normal. Right now I have fuse M23 pulled until I figer this out. Any ideas what my problem is?

It could be the TIPM (Total Integrated Power Module) itself. I've heard of weird things like this with a bad TIPM, like wipers that won't turn off.

Try disconnecting the battery for an hour and reconnecting (rebooting the system) and see if that helps.

I did disconnect the battery little over 10 minutes and didn’t help. I will try that for a hour.

I disconnected the battery for over a hour, did not fix the horn from blowing, as soon I touched the battery terminals the horn immediately started to blow.

Agree with the TIPM. Could be shorted out.

I just saw three people jogging outside my window and it inspired me... to get up and close the blinds.

If it was the TIPM, would I have lights on the dash and other components on the steering wheel not work too? Seems very odd only having a horn issue, cruise, and all steering wheel buttons work.

It was the clock spring, dealer replaced it, the cruise control switch and horn switch. All good now!
