    JL first look

One (a Rubicon) was brought to the PBR event here in TX this past weekend. Was wheeled and apparently impressed many. Even gave it a few dents and scratches.

I just saw three people jogging outside my window and it inspired me... to get up and close the blinds.

There was a black Rubicon at the local Jeep dealership. I got a good look and feel of it. I like it. Backseat is HUGE in comparison to the JK. Front seat all the way back, and a grown adult can sit without hitting their knees on the front seat. All in all, it's really not that much different, but enough updates that really make it a step up.

Looks like if I can convince the wife (need to do a car seat test), we may be down to get a JL. It would be "hers" and I wouldn't be allowed to make any major modifications...we'll see about that

Unfortunately, they did not have it unlocked, so I cannot give you any information. I asked the Jeep "reps" and they said that they were not allowed to open it and that they will be on dealer lots by the end of the month. Funny thing the Chevy display was a few feet away where they had a $72,000 corvette wide open.

Probably should have read your second post before replying, sorry.

No worries, took the family by again today to see how a car seat fits and the Rubicon already sold.

But, they did have a sport so we were able to test it out. Much better than the JK, but the headrests are at an awkward angle and push the seat forward unnecessarily, oh well.
