Highway Armor - License Plate Edition

I got rear ended last weekend by a minivan, probably at 10-15mph. I have a Curt hitch mount license plate bracket that I always thought was oddly overbuilt. I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story, then I'm heading over to Amazon to pick up another plate bracket.

    And the minivan -

Yeah I'm thinking about doing some aircraft warning style stencils on the crossmember. Maybe some arrows and DANGER or NO IMPACT. Either that or I'm going to have to start stamping kills under the driver window. I've had a pickup back into the jeep and crumple his tailgate on the stinger while parking, one girl ripped the front bumper off her civic on my rear wheel while trying to parallel park, a guy in an outback pulled the same bumper removal move pulling out of the spot next to me in a parking lot, my brother backed his insight into the rear crossmember and lost a taillight, and the poor minivan woman. I don't know, maybe I need some high viz paint? Some streamers or something?

I too have felt the pressures of being a SH!# magnet for everyone's car, especially 2019-2020. I had 4 diferent vehicles hit my rear bumper, tires and rear license plate.

I never took any damage except for the lic. plate which I just bent back into shape. All the other vehicles had thousands in damage. "Thank you" to Nitto Tires and JCR Bumpers!

Not my fault I swear! lol Just folks in a hurry not paying attention.

My mother in law even got her driver's rear quarter panel torn open backing out of the garage and not paying attention and that was when I still had a plastic bumper.

My old Nitto Trail Grapplers got her. Those things eat other cars and everything else for lunch.
