Where to get stuff in Chicagoland ?

I might be in the Chicago area for 1-2 weeks in November.
Were can I get some Jeep stuff ? Iīm looking for a TF Nexus steering bumper or a Fox 2.0
As I have approx $500 tax free on such travel it would be much better to buy it on this trip instead of mail order and paying postage AND taxes.

Iīm in Florida in October and get some stuff there. In Florida are plenty of shops. But with a short www search I didnīt find any shops in the Chicagoland area who sell this stuff.

I hope you enjoy your time here in the US! I am not familiar with shops in Chicago, maybe another member can chime in. But there are several vendors that could probably ship to where you are staying. Northridge 4x4, Rebel Offroad, Quadratec, and Summit Racing; along with many others, should be able to get you what you need.

you will pay a 10% sales tax in Chicago and the inflated prices you have to charge to afford to do business there. Not much for wheeling in northern Illinois so may be the reason you don't find shops.

Yeah I looked on google and didn't find something. But if I do mailorder i pay around 5% custom fee and 19%tax.........

And buying this on a business trip or holiday it's free........ at least up to approx $450.

Or I'll order it to the hotel. But I'm not sure about this option........
and to the job there......... hmmmm not a good contact to the guy there.

I've had stuff shipped to my hotel room when traveling all the time. Just order it knowing that it will arrive in time.

Well, I had Bilstein and it didnīt last long. Although it had a slight bend after a visit to a ORV park.
I had a double SS and it felt quite nice. With a G2 axle I couldnīt keep it but Iīm keen on something "like that" So the Fox ATS 2.0 or the TF was on my list.

Iīm not sure if the hotel are so happy with such things. After all itīs not a small letter.......
I thought about this option with my US colleague. But itīs difficult..... US site doesnīt want me to visit them. So I donīt think I can/should ask them.
If the hotels are find with such things, itīs an option.....
