I was caught in that mess, as well. It's a joke. I'm going to spend my weekend removing my photos and finding somewhere else to upload them. I'm willing to pay a fee, but $40 a month?! Yeah, that ain't happening.

Imgur is pretty good for photo hosting and albums. It's treated somewhat like a social media app but I've been using it for a bit and am pretty happy with it.
Photobucket just signed their own death.-Mike

Downloaded all the albums that weren't already on my laptop and deleted my account. Left them a pretty nasty message as a parting gift.
I probably lost a few photos in the process, but nothing important.
