Currently I have Perry, James and Joe showing, all part of our core group. But we would like to see Adam (Rat5509), Johan, and potentially a couple others of our group. Can my group be expanded to 8?

Since this event is being co-sponsored would an LJ be able to attend?

An LJ would be welcome even in previous years when it was just a JK Freaks event. We don't discriminate.

I obviously cant speak for the group... but me personally, I'll wheel with anyone as long as they are friendly and sober (while driving). Nothing else matters but safety and having fun.

All are welcome. CJ, LJ, YJ, TJ, XJ, FJ (well, maybe not the FJ. LOL!)

Yup. We don't even require a WAL windshield sticker.

Ditto x 10. I have no interest in wheeling with or near anyone under the influence. Which is why I won't go to Wellsville in eastern Ohio. If Rausch Creek and other parks find out someone is driving while drinking, they are banned for life.

That's good to hear about Rausch Creek. I have no problem with people drinking... but stay on your couch or let someone else drive. There are people in my life that ask me to go wheeling with them frequently and I always say no because they wont stay dry while we're out there.

Was considering getting rid of my traditional cb for a set of handhelds. I see several dual vhf/gmrs options now. Would something like this work? (I have no previous experience with handhelds)

Those are nice radios, but they are not CB radios. They don't cover the Citizens Band. Also, that radio requires a license to use legally.

Those are pretty nice radios. Seems like they would work well. The thing I like about handhelds, is you can take them with you. The thing I don't like about handhelds, is without the speaker mic or ear piece, they can be hard to hear in the rig.
