    from what people have told me yes not really an expert in the cb department with that said....

    i have a cobra 29 ltd classic with a 4' Wilson antenna ill get some pictures later it was hard to figure out a mounting spot in a 11 with that thing

    haha 2 of my friends do ham radio and all that jazz so i trust them lol it sucks not truly knowing alot about it. all i can do is basic stuff like hook one up and tune it which is a pain in the ass sometime lol

    yeah, I was going to wire mine up also but ran out of time doing other things before my road trip so I had to pay this guy to do it. I trust him with the work also and he is very good. He actually attached the power to the 115V outlet in my jeep and everything is housed right under my cupholders. Works very well. Did not even need to tune it. Only problem I have found though, when i turn on my outlet nobody can hear me because my antenna is getting to much power. Oops lol. At somepoint I will most likely rewire it. But for now I am too lazy lol.

    Got my CB today - used the mount by right leg from quadratec and now just gotta wire it up. Antenna and coax cable should be here tmrw. any suggestions???

    I did a 3' firestik.. I haven't been able to tune it to good SWR's though.. I think it's mostly because of my ground.. not 100% sure

    Ok I think the one I ordered is 4' it should be here tmrw. How do I wire it from where I mounted mine?

    I have a 4' fire stick. Are you asking about wiring the antenna or the electrical? I took step by step pics of the antenna install I am sure. I mounted my cb where yours is too.

    I didn't do mine to the battery because I was afraid I would forget, leave it on, and have no battery juice left, lol!
