Hey folks, seeing as how this will be my 4th year in a row...I’ve decided to plan ahead a bit and save myself some time and aggravation. Instead of making trip after trip to town, or hunting in the woods for firewood, I’m just going to have some delivered out there Friday evening. I found a guy out of Marble Falls that is willing to do free delivery out there for seasoned, split oak. He’s going to do $80 delivered for a 1/4 cord, cash on delivery. That price will drop down a little bit per person, with the more wood we order. There’s about 90 sticks of wood in a 1/4 cord. If anyone else would like some, just PM me and I can add it to the order. Looking forward to seeing all of the friendly faces, and hitting the trails next week!

I wouldn’t order too much more. Considering the forecast the only wood we might be using is just for cooking.

Another year in the books and we set records across the board! in all we raised $6,400 for Pointe of Hope and those devastated by Hurricane Harvey in Rockport, Texas! I can't say enough about the Texas off road community. These people dug deep and helped us help those who so desperately need it!

I'll be posting up photos later today and am already planning next year's event!

Multiple people have to be thanked this morning...

First and foremost I want to thank my fiance', Amy Wortham. She is my rock and without her I couldn't do what I do. Just some of the others I need to thank are...

    Dave Alexander
    Robert Schwenkler
    James Feuerbacher III
    Robert Silva
    Margaret Silva
    Jeff Royle
    Theresa Wysocki Schwindt
    Sheldon Schwindt
    Elaine Wysocki Sackett
    Andy Schwindt
    Emily Schwindt
    Jason Webb
    Christina A Laake
    Marcus Rose
    John Kistner
    Javier Hernandez
    Allan Peterson

There are many more, including our sponsors. So many helped with this and I am thankful for each and every one of you!

I want to take a moment and thank all those who were a part of this event. While Texas members here are numerous but not active, the Texas off roading community (especially Jeeps) always steps up and shows just how much they care. We raised $6,400 for Pointe of Hope and the city of Rockport this year. That money will definitely be put to good use. And as always, we did not take a dime for ourselves. We continue to be proud to call our event a 100% non-profit.

We had close to 200 Jeeps this year and close to 300 people in attendance. Those numbers, along with registrations and ticket sales, were new records. We were proud to welcome many new sponsors, along with ones who have been with us since the beginning. A special treat was welcoming Adrian Murray, the president of Painless Performance. Having the leader of a major company attend was a huge endorsement of our efforts.

Here's a small album of some of the activities...
