Expert tips to ensure that you'll shoot high-quality photos of your car

    or Jeep
Good site with tons of good tips
    http://www.cobracountry.com/fototips/home.html

    My Favorite
    sunlit side vs. shadow side

These two photos of the same Cobra parked in the same spot were shot at precisely the correct time of day... that is, late afternoon/ low-angle sun. Thus the rear shot--facing the sun--came out excellent. But when the photographer walked around the car and shot the (shadow-side) front... the results are pretty self-evident.

Disregarding the distracting reflections of the sun on the camera lens (another solid reason to keep the sun to your backside), the car came out a murky brownish color bathed in a murky shadow. Color photography is about LIGHT, NOT SHADOW.

so true. oh and something people never really think about, but always happens. when youre taking a picture of a vehicle next to a building or something. be sure to watch your refection. cause youll see it. and it just wont look as good, since youll know you see yourself.

It would be nice if there was more interest in photography on this forum and could get some awesome pictures of all our jeeps

oh also, if you decide to take a moving video with an SLR, mount it onto a tripod. and use the tripod to hold it. it REALLY helps with the shakiness. (maybe its just me that is a human vibrator)

My tip would be to always try different angles. It is insane how different and unique something can look based on a different perspective.

You guys gotta believe Speed, he is an expert photographer. Now, both him and I would be lying if we were to say that having a mango tango jeep doesn't play into the pics
