    2012 - Whipsaw - July 28th-29th

Just posting this here. A Whipsaw run is being organized for July 28th/29th. I'm not the guy organizing it, but figured I should post it on a couple other jeep/JK forums incase there's any interest.

9 confirmed jeeps right now. I did it last year as my first big run, and had an absolute blast! I was so happy that I changed my vacation dates last year to make the run. And with the end of July working out perfectly for when I was hoping to make a trip down there, it's an easy decision to do this trip again. Even if I didn't have family down there, I'd make the 5000km+ drive just for this trip.

I am on the bubble for this run...may conflict with my schedule. It is a blast and it never grows old even doing it 3 times in past years.

Just a few teaser pics of the fun you would have on this run!

What time of year was that? I went early/mid July last year, and there was still 4+ feet of snow up there. We didn't get much further than the cabin. Was still an absolute blast, and well worth the trip down for it... but am hoping there's less snow (like none) this time around.

Near the end of July was when most of the photos were taken. It shouldn't be to bad as the snowfall was not as large as last year and with the very cool spring last year delayed the snowmelt.
