Been very happy with my MTRs in 35. When those wear/funds permit I'll be going to the same tire in a 37 (or bigger if I can swing it).
Been running them for 2 years now, 14k miles on them so far...rotating all 5 every 3k.

I have the Trail Grapplers in 35 and love them, but they are heavy and cost right around the MTR/ Toyo range. If I'm not mistaken, Nitto is an offshoot of Toyo. They have done well on and off pavement and the noise seems comparable to the BFGs that came stock. I drive to work on the freeway everyday and still have the little new tire nubs on most the tire after nearly 2000 miles. On the other hand, I have heard nothing but great things about the Duratracs. Thinner sidewall, yes, but it hasn't seemed to be much an issue from what I've heard, and they are at least 40 bucks cheaper per tire than the TGs.
You won't regret the duratracs IMO unless its a trail only rig
Thanks for all of the replies...experience is golden!
I parted with a few more "benjamins" and had my order changed to MT/R's. Much more comfortable with this choice!
Having them mounted on black Level 8 Trackers, and should be here by the time I get this lift, etc installed![]()

I have had experience with both the duratrac and fierce. I like both tires. I feel the duratrac was abetter DD tire then the fierce. but both are great tires. I'm currently on fierce with 20k miles and still have tons of tread. The '13 wrangle will get the duratracs.
