    LEVIATHAN Is Born

So this is something I haven't gotten around to doing...mostly because my Jeep build has been on hold for about two years. I have a few pictures of where I am right now (hasn't really changed since July 2011) but thanks to a recent visit to Jeep Beach and some great deals on parts, there's a distinct future for my Jeep.

Started with a new 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Mountain Edition. Deep Water Blue (still one of my favorite Wrangler colors) with factory tow etc. Shortly after getting it, got a good deal on a used MyGig Nav system and picked up a lockpick to go with it, giving me a rearview camera. Picked up the Jeep in July, so of course stripping down was a priority:

Then, after discovering the northern end of the Outer Banks, put an ARB onboard compressor on and picked up a SpiderWebShade (they don't keep the water off, just so you know, but they are fabulous). Superchips Flashpak, Tuffy Underseat Security Drawer, Tuffy Rear Security Enclosure...

Just before welcoming my daughter at the end of July, finally got to get some bigger shoes. Opted for the AEV 3.5" DualSport SC lift, AEV Savegre Wheels, 35" Goodyear MTR w/ Kevlar tires and regear to 5.13s. After this it was time to start following people to some off-road spots, starting out with Shoe Creek not too far from home...in the middle of January.

Mike - '10 Deep Sea Blue "Mountain" Unlimited - Only thing "Mountain" left is the seats and grill...hereafter known of as: "LEVIATHAN"
35" MTRs w/ Kevlar on AEV Savegres, Nth 3.5" lift. Bunch of little interior/exterior changes.
AEV Gen II Snorkel, AEV Heat Reduction Hood, ACE Pro Series Front/Rear Bumpers w/ Rigid SR lights, ENGO 10K Winch w/ Syn, sPOD, Truck Lite Headlights, TeraFlex HD Hinged Tire Carrier, PS Evap Skid
USAF 1998-Present. Just 4 years, 4 months 'til retirement...

Looks great. Congrats on the daughter. My son is due at the end of July as well. I already told wife that he will be a mini-jeep-freak. Lol.
As for a name no idea, mine doesn't have a name either.

I'd also picked up a secondhand hardtop over the winter for a good deal... Picked up a Cobra 29 LX and a Firestik along with a no-name antenna mount and got that all wired up before our first trip up to Rausch Creek with Jacob & Dana for a great little 101 class for off-road driving. Really let me know just how capable the Jeep could be, and crave taking it places (and tore up the long boot on the front driveshaft...still off, just keep it greased and it's still good).

A few mod parties at Matt Sayre's place later, I'd installed a set of JKS Quick Disconnects up front (with assistance) and was ready for the next venture to Rausch Creek, the first Freak Fest. Prior to which was figuring out the lift system to get the hardtop up and out of the way for the warm months. (Can't say enough about the Racor Pro Lift for this). But an excellent time was had at Rausch Creek, and LOD Rock Rails were ordered (I just installed them last month, that's bad on me).

So now I have the LOD Sliders on (stout, but that whole drilling into the frame thing...I'm good with it now). Running an AntennaX antenna that another forum member wasn't happy with. And now there's the current iteration of the build...

During Johnny's giveaways for the JKFreaks anniversary, I won the BDF A Pillar mounts for lights, which are sadly still awaiting me getting lights for them...

Then, a couple weeks ago, we managed to make it to one day of Jeep Beach (job situations have been sketchy, but everything's solidified now...other than the wife having to travel a bit, and me having some single dad times). Thankfully the one day we were able to hit was the Saturday at the speedway, which gave us both an excellent chance to see a lot of the manufacturer's products in person...and to catch some great deals from them and the distributors for the event.

    So on order from ACE:
Pro Series front w/ bull bar and 20" rigid allowance
Pro Series rear w/ hitch and 2x 6" rigid allowance
    Narrow Steel Fender Flares
    Hi-Lift Hood Mounts

    On order from Rebel:
Rigid SR 20" Hybrid (for the front)
Rigid Spectre 6" Hybrid x2 (for the rear)
Teraflex HD Hinged Tire Carrier (to get the spare off the stock carrier before something bad happens)
    PSC Evap Skid
Misc parts to move the license plate to the center of the spare and clean that area up. And side marker lights to keep me legal.

Also picked up a 60" cast Hi-Lift, handle keeper, and boot for the hood mounts...

    Won at Jeep Beach:
    sPOD system (so excited)

Short list for ordering in the future:
Drake Billet Hood Tie Downs (drove back from Florida in gusty conditions and saw the first and last hood flutter I want to see, wasn't sure it wouldn't rip up and take out the windshield...and I've already replaced one of those)
Truck Lite LED Headlights (since I'm losing my fogs)

No pictures yet, since this is future...so I'll include pictures of my little future Jeeper:
    At a mod party:

    At Rausch Creek:

    Her first Jeep:

Since I've already plugged one of my favorite accessory makers (SpiderWebShade) it isn't fair that I've neglected to mention my other favorite accessory maker, and their parts that I'm using now (weather permitting).

Just Add Mud Offroad makes two wonderful products: JAMPegs (which was what I got from them last year) and JAMMirrors that I picked up this year...since I got tired of hammering the mirrors out to move them into the relocation brackets.

Yeah a name kinda has to come from within. I have seen plenty of "Name my Jeep" threads in the past and really it all comes down to how she handles and her personality towards you (yes I mean the Jeep)
